Morning all.

Trying to rebuild Noel but I'm struggling 🙄
(Bloody carpenter trying to be a mechanic 🤔)

Anyway, I'm working from this

So looks like this?

So does the short pipe left of the T connect to this

And then pipe erc298 onto erc2827 is like a sausage up Oxford street. Very very loose!

I assume it's here it connects?

Basically, I'm really confused 🤔

Noel is a 1975 series 3 Lwb 2¼ petrol with, so I've been told, a military engine (?)

If anyone can help me with some advice, it will be greatly appreciated 👍

Little pipe on the carb is for the vacuum to the dizzy.

As for the rest…. I have blanked mine off

Thought 1 pipe went to the oil cap ? (T piece)

The last pic, the small pipe below carb is the vacuum advance, connected to the distributor.
The short pipe from the T would connect to the cap in the middle of the rocker box. Can not see if yours has the connection on the cap or not. If not substitute short pipe for longer pipe to the oil filler tube.
Or do as @Hicap phill and dump the lot and have just a series two breather cap on the rocker box. find on the flea bay.

Ok, I'm with what you are saying
This bit was missing from day 1, so I'm working blind with all the different variants.
Thank you for your help 👍

I see now the rocker box cap is connected to the round thing at the back, If I remember right it is a valve that allows engine to suck oil residue from the cap but only when throttle is closed [ may be wrong on this] All you need do is get a new hose to replace the cracked one and connect where the stub one is on the T piece.

Makes perfect sense.
Thank you for taking the time to reply 👍
