Horseshoe pass?

was sopposed to be going there this weekend to due to my disco being jacked up in the air due to maintenance its gonna be next weekend. me and tha lads have heard its massive there but your not really allowed on. anyone got any input or pics of there?

It was a great site used for trials and the like, not been for a few years cause of some silly ratterjack toad or something yet led to believe still a working quarry

I Avoid the area the anti 4x4 plods seem to all ways be up there

yer its the quarry am talking about, just been to leigh near wigan today back to that dissused quarry cause if i got caught again withing 6 months i would have the disco taken away. so i left it 6 months went up today and yet again police on there within half an hour, was quite busy before we got there though.

As i said the place is very busy and at weekends the "hobby bobbies" are on the look out nearly all the time and patrol the area

They also wait in hidden dips for those doing the 3 peaks run

Couple of us on foot found some hidden cctv cameras pointing at various runs quite a bit of nice expensive kit small batterys, solar pannels wires etc

Now i wanted to collect all the stuff and hand it in at the local plod station after all someone had lost it, but me mates talked me out of it

not sure what it was they gave me but i took it to court in the end as i refused to pay the fine and walked away with a smile on my face put it that way but could never be arsed with the hassle again so left it for 6 months just to make life easier. wouldnt mind but the lanny's are quiet. i can understand kicking the scramblers and trial bikes off cause they do make a fair amount of noise, "not that i am personally complaining" haha . just found a dissused quarry in southport over the weekend and also a place full of dunes in altacr but i was by myself so didnt venture much incase i needed pulling out. am still up for this horseshoe pass though.
