I've got training leads, other leads, a coat, etc. to hang up. The training leads in particular need to hang dry. How do you think I might screw a cloakroom coat hanger onto the pillars? Cheers

Have a look on some chandlery sites, there may be a thing for your needs ...
Good shout. I'd never even heard of that word. They've got stuff here and everywhere that folds back again so I won't dint me head when I'm cleaning the cargo bay out. Cheers

Are the posts big enough for a rivnut to go into? You could mount a piece of wood between two posts, then mount some of the fold away hooks you have found.

Just looked them up and bought 4 on ebay. Cheers for that. Once I've got a wooden batten in situ, I can screw anything to it. ust found a chap who shows how to put them in without the rivnut tool. Cheers

Good luck putting them in without the tool. I have stripped loads of rivnuts and 12.9 Allen head bolts. If your near County Durham, Bishop Auckland, I have a really good insert tool you can use.

Maybe too late now, but you can get super strong magnetic hooks that fit onto the galvanised roof strip. easy to adjust and remove, but strong enough to hang coats etc.

How about the over door hooks that you can pick up from Aldo et al?
I found that the wide end hooks lovely over the bulkhead in my 90, might do the same
on the sides?

Cheers for the offer. I'm a fair trek away (especially in a tratter).

What wrong with the old fashioned piece of baler twine solution!
you really are turning it into a Chelsea tractor :p
I never thought of twine, and I'm still nesting and bonding with my new car for life. It's not just women who like to plump up cushions and make things nice you know? The Chelsea people go for lunches and pick up their kids from private schools. I don't imagine they even start their tratters up in the morning, whereas I have, just today, fitted my other side light, bridged the gaps in my heated window with gold stuff, and taken delivery of a 27 mm bar thing to tighten up my spare wheel I had to get the garage to take off to change my rear wiper (I've changed the wipers), and I've just put locking nuts on. I'm trying an idea of a 2 x 1 across the cargo area, resting it on the rims at each curved thin glass window, then hanging a shiela maid from it with a pully. Great for the leads AND my washing, as I can drive with the windows open to dry it all.
