My Disco 300tdi has a hole in the front wheel arch, I can now inspect my tyre tread while under the bonnet, and with my MOT coming up I was wondering if this is a failure item? If it is a failure what's the easiest way to repair or 'fix' it? Gav PS Tried to post this earlier, but it didn't work, but if it appears later please forgive my newbieness !

that's quite small and not in an area that is an mot failure.
cut it back to where is good metal, weld a plate on.

Depends if you have ABS so not. IIRC pump/valve block is mounted here, so MOT tester may take a dim view and welding here should be done with care.

That's right...a few years back mine failed its MOT 'cos of that.
