Hi all !
Hope yous all had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to a great New Years!
Although im learning to be quite an expert with sorting door locks when im actually in the car( 3 burnt out in a short time on my new "money pit" in all states of lock/unlock)
Im a bit stuck here!
Situation is a friends just called, his T reg Petrol P38 has been siting on his drive for around 3 months due to the new battery keep going flat within a week.. . and the battery is dead flat.So the remote wont unlock the doors...The key lock on the drivers side is inop..From what hes describing, the bar has come off inside the door?
Before he resorts to calling someone out...Is there any way to acess it?
If i could get the bonnet open from outside i could jump it and "blip" the doors open?
If anyones got any suggestions it would be appreciated!
Cheers Tel

Cheers Yella!
Will give me somewhere to start,,but thinking about it on way home, even if i jump it the remotes gonna be outta sync anyway i guess....
But its a start..
Thanks Tel

How about connecting a +ve lead onto the main connector on the starter and a -ve onto the chassis, you would need to be a bit careful in jacking it up and connecting the leads but it would save trying to get the bonnet open.

Sorry for the delay, but have been away..
From what ive been told the car was locked(dont think its super locked) And now the battery has gone dead flat, but to add insult, the bar is apparently off of the key lock...
Im thinking even getting everything live(via battery or starter motor) the fob is gonna be outta sync and still wont unlock the car....The boots central locked too, with no key...
Thinking their gonna have to call someone in then get it all reset....
Was just hoping to get it open so they could get their bits outta car!
Thanks for all your sugestions guys!
Tel

If you are brave enough, you can lever the rear top corner of the front door frame out enough to get a stiff wire down and hook the button. They are quite flexible. Use a cloth to protect the paint work on the roof. This will only work if it is not superlocked.
