I am currently looking at series III Ex MOD Ambulance conversions.

The idea is to convert it into a company van, as its something different and will stand out in the mind.

So full respray, livery etc

Is there anyway I can make the interior more conformatable, what engines are recommend for conversions.

want a motorway cruiser, van and weekend fun machine in one so a tall order.

because of the extra weight in the ambulance i'd go for a v-8 or peut-etre a diesel. as for making it more conformatable i can't help you as i don't know what that means.

Is there any type of V8 eninge i should be looking for, i.e 3.5 rover lump.

As for conformatable just a bit more visually pleasing, and maybe slighty improved ride,

Sorry english is not my strong point, basicly need a company van , transits, etc all look the same so though Land Rover converted to be used as a van would stand out and look different to the norm.

Just wondered what extras can be added on it to make the driving expenance more pleasureable.

i alway find that furry dice are good and speaking from experience i would recommend getting some new springs on it if its an ex army ambulance. nah! forget that, just trust me you don't want an ambulance. the body roll on them fookers is worse than a renault 4. the rover lump you can pick up from e bay and if yer lucky you'll find an adapter kit to go with it.

If you get a 101 ambulance it'll have a V8 engine it it already. Mind you, having the aerodynamic qualities of a house brick means it ain't fast but it is thirsty.
