Hissing noise

Hi my Discovery sport has just reached 40k. After I turn the engine off I can hear a hissing noise which lasts about one minute. Sometimes it sounds like if something is boiling or air escaping. Whilst driving everything is fine no over heating etc...It does not effect car performance.

Hi mate, I too have this hissing sound when the engine is switched off. I concluded that is nothing major to worry about, if theres no coolant leaks or extreme misting of the inside of the windscreen then it cant be from a leak. Mines been like it for the last year since I bought it. Seems worse when the air con has been running.
