Quick intro from me.

Live near Clitheroe in Lancashire and just bought a well looked after 2001 Freelander 5dr ES TD4.

A few years back when I was in forestry it was all Defender 90s and I loved them but have been more practical with a 4 and 2 yr old in the back.

Certainly is, what makes you ask?

Welcome - Just make sure its got 4 wheel drive and the prop shaft hasn't been removed for fuel economy reasons

Fortunately I think it was on here that I spotted that point to look out for.

The last owner was somewhat fanatical about maintenance and the log of work done is all there. Recon VCU from Bell Engineering last year which is running nice and cold, all new tyres and importantly both prop shafts
