We are hoping to tow a pony trailer with our defender 90 which has a 2" lift. Can anyone please tell me what the implications of the lift will be and what I should fit for the safest towing. Thanks

As fanatic said, get the trailer sat level, especially if you're towing animals.

We tow our caravan and I aimed to get the nose level or pointing down a tad, certainly don't try towing with it nose high .. though my small garden trailer does this, but that's almost inconsequential 'cos it's so light!

If you're towing regularly HD springs can help.

Ditto, as already sit...definetly get it sitting level else it might fishtail all over. I found this out the hard way when using my disco 2 to tow my boat trailer, it was everywhere due to nose being slightly elevated. Now use a witter adjustable bar to correct height and it tows perfect. Weight of boat trailer just over 1.2T
