Hi, I am a student and just managed to buy a defender 90 tdi CSW F reg, with a little help from my parents. i did have one few years ago but one day my partner made me get rid of it, as it was too uncomfortable ride for her and she couldn't get in i with an skirt on!, I have regretted that day ever since. i think once you have driven one you never want to drive anything else. Although this defender is an F reg it has a recon engine which has only done 14K and it is very clean inside & out and looks new. anyway, the question I am seeking advice on was whether it is advisable for me to spend few thousand or more on equipping it with all the off road gear as it is an f reg defender (brought for only £5,000), and if so what should i spend money on first, ie: raised suspension & anti role bars, role cage, wading kit & snorkel, under body protection etc, as I can only afford to do one at a time. I appreciate any advice anyone can offer.
