Hi. I'm new, need advice on TD5

Hi,

I am looking to purchase a new Landrover, I currently have a Defender 110 and would like some opinions on the TD5 engine, as I hear they are not great and some can experience problems.

Any advice, info would be appreciated.

Hi all landrovers have their teething problems, in my opinion I prefer the td5 much smoother and more powerfull unit, and yes I did have a 200tdi, again was another fine old bus, it all boils down to personal pref, the td5 is a mighty fine old tonka tho if i must say, and sounds nice too.

Hi, I currently have a 300tdi and am looking to upgrade to a new model.

i have a td5 90 and love it to bits as landybandy says lovely sound loads of power sounds fookin fantastic
would go for 1 thats not too old or too many miles on the clock if you can afford it the early 1's have more issues than the later 1's
