Hi all landyzone users,
Can anyone help me, I have a 2003freelander td4, it hesitates on exelaration and lacks power, but runs fine when I disconnect the vacum pipe from the EGR valve, can not find any leaks in vacum pipes or intercooler pipes, any one else had same thing?

:welcome2: to the Forum.
Your posting on this thread might possibly give you a bit of stick, and you might like to consider reposting your Gaylander query somewhere in the Gaylander section! :D:D

However, you might get someone who will offer you serious advice about your Gaymobile, which does not include the usual provision of a box of matches and a roll of Gaffa Tape!

yes we are sorry you have a gaylander but there is nothing we can do unless you burn it or sell it :p

lol , dont worry mate but you will get stick for having a gaylander and admitting to it but to answer your question leave the vac hose off it and just block up the end that used to be on the egr with a bolt. it sounds like your egr is blocked and (not knowing about gaylanders thank God) if the ecu doesnt run the engine then you can just leave it blanked off. if it does you will need to have the ecu re-programmed to run with no egr or buy a new egr. the egr is a waste of time and performance though so loosing it is best.

Again sorry to hear you have a gaylander :p

taken well mate, well done- hope you stick around! it would be good to get another type of landy though- more or less any type will do other that a gaylander :D
