Hi - got a question about defender suspension

I was told by a guy on a defender training course that haevy duty suspension is not so good on the road; better off with standard suspension.

HD suspension is standard on the XS although it's not on the County Hard Top.

Does anyone no whether the XS with HD suspension or County Hard Top with regular suspension would be more comfortable on the road?

I haven't bought yet, and I'd like to know before I do, as I do have to do some off-road, but a lot of on-road as well.

no noticable difference as no defender is comfortable to drive buy a disco or rangey if you want a nice drive. A defender if you want a workhorse thats excellent offroad

back to springs... only go for the HD's if your carrying a load in the back. if its going to be empty most of the time, opt for the standards. HD's are designed for towing and carrying **** loads in the back.
