Hi, from Scunthorpe, Skint Central... I have used this forum so many hours now, I feel like family.... bought myself a 2001 freelander for my birthday, and by my own estimations really looked liked scrapyard material, but after hours lurking around here, discovered my lovely gaylander, was a right bargain, and nothing much was very wrong, apart from the usual gay stuff like , brake light switch, Inlet manifold gasket, reverse light switch, and hill decent control amber light, cooling system not being bled properly, and loosing tiny bits of water, which nothing a bottle of k seal didnt solve..... So right , now ive fallen in love and all that,,,, btw HDC light was throttle cable tiny bit too tight, but any ways saw a bargain on flea bay " 2005 freelander td4" for a grand, and has a loud maching gun type clacking, but runs okish but has power, I'm totally out my depth now and need to learn more about engines, as this is a fun project for me ,,, I need help and decided its time to get my arse involved, here I am and thanks so much for the vault of info, this forum maintains,, cheers Craig
