Hi from NW England :-))

Hello everyone!

I own a '96 Discovery 300TDI. I had quite a rough time finding one, i looked at some newer oned but was appauled by them! (electric tape all around a seat belt fastening... this was at a garage with a very nice and fancy website - what a wasted trip that was!)
The one i have is older than wanted, boby wise it's 'rough' but it does the job and i am happy with it as a 1st LR (hubby hates it with a passion!)

I did get a Range Rover a few months ago... but... welllll... it died a few miles after picking it up! It was left in a layby for the nearest LR garage to collect it, they said it needed extensive work so the guy i got it form had it back So, for a couple of hours i had a RR lol.

I am in the NW of england. I have always loved Discoveries and even though my car is old and battered, it is my dream car lol! I went from a pretend 4x4, to a city rover, to a family car - picasso, then to a real 4x4 - best move ever!

I have horses and the idea is that eventually i will do my trailer test and get a trailer to pull rather than drive my horsebox. I am getting in lots of practice towing and reversing at my stables that i have.

I hope to get lots of help and advice from here, and once i am more knowledgable myself, then i hope i can also help others out
