Hi Everyone,
Joined as I keep reading threads covering things I need to know and thought it was about time I was part of community.
I have recently retired and first job was to rebuild my trusty Defender 90 MY 2000 that needs a new chassis and have been buying bits to upgrade to a 2002 - 2006 MY, all was looking good, but have now got a dreaded cancer and going through Chemo and Radiotherapy. So had great idea, another Landy project! Amazingly better half agreed and have bought a stolen and stripped 2007 MY Defender 90 at auction. It has actually turned out to be better than I thought and what's there is in really great condition. They took all bodywork except rear tub and bulkhead and have stripped out all the expensive things like seats, ECU etc. so now have fun finding replacements (part of my therapy ). There are bits missing I am not sure about as it is a newer model than mine, so will be looking for help identifying them. Will also be looking to fit a serious security system!
So looking forward to joining all the discussions.
Cheers,
Graham
