Been a member on here for a few years now but never posted as you can see.
Ive been fighting the urge to get a Defender for a number years but have been beaten! I drive landies of different sorts often for work but never owned one myself, to be fair most of the works vehicles i have driven have been poorly maintained dogs.
Anyways after setting up on my own last year (I run a small tree surgery company) I have been on the looking for a cheapish Defender and finally sourced one. She is a 110 200tdi van back and can only be described as being in excellent condition in all the right places, a real credit to the last owner.
Main purpose of the 110 is to be my daily drive, then for work towing. Planning to get the sides sign written so should really look the part when quoting also. I dare say it wont be long before its covered in mud.
One small issue with her, the rear/back door is rotten to bits, its the only thing last owner never got round to doing before he was forced to sell it. I had a look on ebay it seems less than 200 notes will get me a replacement in primer.
Apart from eBay, who or where is a good place to source a new rear door?
