Hi All, just thought I would drop in and say hello being a new owner of a discovery 300tdi living in Oxford. I recently purchased a 1998 with the idea to use it for towing and a run around, I thought it was tidy with not to much rust (ha ha fool I hear you say) so far I have replaced the lower section of the rear cross member with mounts (YRM) and put a section in one of the sills, still to go are the front inner arches. Yesterday I replaced the P gasket as Peeing out, went to undo the radiator bleed cap and it snapped off (found cap out of a household radiator fits) ordered 2x brass to replace. When I got the disco I wasnt looking for another project or hobby as also have a Trans Am and motor bikes but looks like it has become my number one project. The positive is I love driving it, it easy to work on, parts are cheap and have found this web site really useful which I thank you all for.
