Well Im Damien, I grew up with my dad always into his Army Landrovers being ex army.. hearing stories about his "reccy landrover" in Borneo, Malaysia, Well we ended up having a nice camo one as I was growing up aswell.. I have always liked the Freelander , not too big and yet not too small.. Some friends had a Black 1.8ES 2002 on a 51'plate they were selling yet internet searches and discussion boards alerted me to the HG problems, cooling system, termostat issues, well cut a long story short he said he had lots of work done including HG .. So I grabbed this VGC freelander, was happy as larry for 5 yes 5 days and 132 miles before it went Bang..! resulting on a guy I knows that races MG ZRs said it was the same engine as my other car MGTF and said he could rebuild the K series engine for me and garuntee it wont go bang as he said he has to thrash his engine in the races...... so This has all been put tight including new clutch , tyres, brakes, so hopefully I will be having some great driving experiences, in fact I think its a pleasure to drive... well hopefully I have not bored you folks... ! So will it make it overland to Marrekesh..on an adventure...?
