Hi Everyone, I need your help!

Hi,

I am new to this site and to Land Rover! I recently purchased a Defender 90 XS SW.....I love it, but it needs some goodies bolted on as it's a little "basic". I have brought a rear work lamp to go with the new tow pack and have the following problems:-

1. Where does the tow bar electrics multi plug attach to the vehicle loom?

2. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or fitting instructions for a work light. I asked Land Rover, but they don't provide anything

Any info would be very welcome

Hi John,
I recently removed my tow bar to give more rear ground clearence, The loom for i ran across the rear cross member and up the o/s rear panel behind the **** gaurd into the covering for the rear light wireing. In there there are plenty of spare connections for the multi plug to go into(may need some slight mods e.g male bullet connectors fitting as the sockets on landrovers are this type)
As for the work lamp a spot light fitting kit should help you, these are availible from halfords but have basic circuit diagrams with them. Failing that theres always the trusty Haynes manual
