hi everyone!! freelander gearbox no fun!!!!

Hi landylovers,
How is everyone? just bought a new toy a freelander td4 i play with these things a little so i bought a damaged one as i have a lot of parts to repair them the model i bought is a auto sport. It turns out the box is damaged i have all the kit to replace with manual stuff but the landy main dealers say the brains are different i have a feeling he was on a doom and gloom day can anyone give me any advise??? cheers ang hello again

This is a trickey one not impossible but im sure do~able, it wont be that easy as the engine ecm needs to talk to the auto box and the abs for hill descent and traction control,the manual box does not have a brain but the engine managment has been told that an auto box has been fitted and matched to it,i cant see the engine having problems running but i must add that i type faster than my brain can comprehend also the instrument pack will be recorded as being an auto,it would be quite a lot of work cant you get another auto box or get that 1 repaired do you know whats wrong with it

Talk about a challenge mate, all you need is the oxy bottles and the mig and everything will be good!!!!! Haha
