Afternoon everyone!
I must confess to having stalked these forums for a good 6 months, was looking to get a landy and wanted to get as much info as I could.
I was torn between a disco and rangie and last night bought a 96' 2.5 DSE rangie.
I've always liked them, especially the 4.6, but being my first (oohhh matron) I thought I'd be sensible and get the DSE. I'm quite handy with a spanner (from reading various threads probably just as well!) and am looking forward to picking her up tomorrow from Liverpool.
More about the car! Well, it's a 96' p-reg DSE auto, it is quite high mileage at 228,023, but I think that's barely run in! It's green with brown (yuk!) leather, sidesteps. I must admit, I'm not crazy about the interior so at some point in the future I may replace it.
It does have an overheating problem but and reading through the forum I'm pretty sure I can figure out what the cause is, I'm hoping it's something simple like an air-lock. AA card at the ready!
When I get her back (either under her own steam or on a flatbed) I'll get some photo's up.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, I need something strong to drink to sooth my soon to be freyed nerves!
Mick
