Hi All!

Hi all, my name is Dan, I'm from Northern Ireland and I've just bought my grandfathers
03 defender 110 td5.
It's a British racing green defender that's been very well kept and has never been off-road.

I've plans to redo the defender as in exterior parts, grills - bumpers - extras etc. I've came on here to hopefully get an insight on what other people do to their defenders and to give me ideas.

Get extra security on it if you haven't already?
Fancy extras make them even more of a target to thieves so bear that in mind although most of us still can't resist bolting on tat
A search on here will bring up the most effective anti theft devices.

If it hasn't been done by someone, it's probably not possible. It's all down to what you want to use it for, what's important is what's right for you

Upgrading your Landy depends on the finances available and what you want to do. There’s lots of help and advice here, including pictures on the projects forum for inspiration. The best upgrade is security for your Defender. They’re very popular with thieves and easily nicked sadly.
