Hi dude you in the same boat as me I am on my first and its a series 3 diesel 1975. Was in a bit of a state but after two months or work and weld I have just got it the first MOT after six years of Neglect. Hope you have fun with it. Hey you seem to call it a she and it's a lwb so how about BIG BERTHA. If you have any questions and need answers you can use the forum and people do help. Nearly burnt out the wiring on mine today some idot has put extra wires in mine and they are all RED. OOOPS that was not good. Alot of smoke but only one wire to replace. It goes somthing like this RED + red+ red + red - red -. NOT good. If you need help give us a shout.

Thanks for the encouragement.. although luckily mine has an mot and has just had a full engineers report.. thankfully all little niggles really.. little bit of bad welding to be repaired few bolts to tighten and rest is kinda cosmetic (no locks.. wobbly ignition switch) Anyway just about to order some tyres pay for some work to be done then its the parabolics and interior! On the subject of fires someone had 'wired' a radio into mine (cant think why as you cant hear the damn thing) however a not very good job was done which resulted in that lovely melting wire smell on the way home.. needless to say that went.. mind you i keep finding wires to long gone accessories everywhere thing i'll invest in a fire extinguisher! Have a look at the general questions for my first set of help! items!!
