The dreaded book symbol has appeared on my display after a jumpstart from a very very nice AA patrolman. Everything seems to be working ok, although not quite as hot as I'd like in the mornings. In trying to work out what had caused the battery to run out, we pulled all relays and fuses, whilst checking amps at the battery. There was a constant .6 amp while we individually pulled everything. I have read that the BCM uses .6 amps and the fact that I had it parked next to a domestic electrical substation led me to believe that this was keeping the bcm awake. (The fact that it hasn't happened again and I park farther away from the sub is enough for me!). Anyways, I have checked that all relays and fuses are back in their correct place and contacts are ok. No funny smells from fuse box. Would it be just that I need to get her plugged into a computer to clear the book symol or does anyone think that she's been damaged by what we done? Many thanks.

yes get it plugged in to reset the hevac and dont park near the substation as you gussed right it will keep the becm awake. there a place in tongham that does the plug ins for you.
