Is there any power steering fluid left to leak out!? o_O I'd fix the leak before it decides to let go completely, prevention better than cure etc.
If you're unsure take it for an MOT, that'll give you a reasonable idea on any significant issues. If it drives well and sounds good, it probably is good!!

Fifth gear did a crash test. Scary
Wasn't it just. Apart from the results of that, I am a firm believer that there should be a 'familiarisation' course/test for anyone on a grandad rights licence and new drivers, before they are allowed to drive a vehicle such as a Disco or similar. A few hours , spent on and off road, learning how they handle, and having it drummed into the driver's head, 'no they will not save you from getting into trouble, on ice, or in snow, or rain. Yes, it does handle differently, doesn't it' and most importantly, 'yes it will end up on it's roof, if you drive like a twit'

Guess who wishes they'd bought an Espace for their four kids. tenor.gif Although to be fair the four kids would be ok in that crash. Just no mum or dad after it
