my 1998 1.8l has just died can anyone tell me if there is an economical transplant. V6? different make? I really don't want to throw the body away but I can't justify the money they are asking for a new or 2nd hand motor

Didnt Banit600 install an L-series? Straight swap. You'll need full wiring looms L-series and for the T220, and Jatco gearbox for the Td4
