I thought i was pouring brake fluid in the right place but after i did that
i discovered that i had poured it in the coolant overflow tank instead. I
drained out everything that was in the tank but was wondering if any could
have gotten to the radiator? I have an F250 superduty Ford diesel. The
overflow is where the normal brake flud tank is on a vehicle. Anyway,
that's my question to the stupid mistake i made.....thanks.

Not likely if you caught it besides brake fluid is glycol based and it
gets along fine with water and anitfreeze. If you had added it to the
power steering, ATF fluid or engine oil, it would have been a very
serious matter.

I do agree. Do not see a serious problem here. Go on driving!!!

Hi! Brake fluid is actually good for the rubber hoses! Som put it on
their tires to make them 'look' nice. DON'T PUT OIL IN THE RADIATOR
though!! ;-)

Yes, it is 'really' good for dissolving the rubber hoses.... It shines
up the tires nice as it dissolves the dirty outer layer of them away
too....

THAX mike/ I never knew why all those flimsy-thin water-hoses.
