Hi guys. I'm not normally stumped on things but I am on this.
I'm trying to improve my heater so want to fit the flow control valve off the later V6 cooling system. The only problem is I can't find the part number.
Can someone look it up for me.
The pre 2003 V6 has a T piece, the later V6 has a valve in its place. It's the valve number I'm after.
It's number 16 on the diagram.
Thanks

It's a simple T pipe up to MY 2002. From MY 2003 it was changed to a valve that restricts the water flow from the oil coolers at low engine speeds. This restriction forces more coolant through the heater to increase output.

You probably known this already but all I can find all the whole pipe assemblies named "HOSE-HEATER RETURN COOLANT"

PEH500250 from (V)6A000001 to -----------
PEH000224 from (V)3A255000 to (V)5A999999

Both of these are in the LHD section of microcat, but I do not see alternates for RHD. There are a few pictures online when you search for these part numbers.

That's all I can find too. The parts are shown separately on the diagram but like you I can only find the complete hose assembly.
