Does anyone know if I can fit 10x15 wheels fitted with 33x12.5x15 Tyres onto my Defender 110 Td5.

If so do you know of any suppliers?

Thanks,

Mike.

ive never actually tried it myself, but i seem to recall reading something about when fitting 33''s then you need a lift(2''+)and possibly youl need your steering lock stops adjusted afterwards but otherwise i see no reason why not,you see plenty of them fitted, though they may stick out past your arches somewhat

yes they should fit.

Scan a landy mag for hundreds of tyre dealers and suppliers.

2" lift will be needed or they are going to be stuck up in the arches. at 12.5" wide you will also need arch extensions to pass an MOT. plenty of info on 2" lifts, look around here for it.

33s will go under the arches but im told that 15 inch rims wont go over the front brakes on a 110 a 90 yes. unless a td5 has smaller brakes than a 300 tdi 110

I fitted these exact size wheel and tyres, no lift needed, offset a lot, so no need catching on full lock either. had to fit extended wheel arches though, and they have a nasty habit of bump steer!!

Right folks sorry to dig up an ancient thread (I know it's over 3 years old). But the pic above ^^^ is that 90 not lifted? I'm looking t some wheels/tyres in this size but thought id need a 2" lift otherwise they would hit the arches, is this true? Also am I likely to start destroying my diff and half shafts with these size wheels fitted? Thanks

if u dont mind smashing your arches off offroad then u dont need a lift

driver error destroys diffs/halfshafts

Hmmm thanks for the heads up landyman. As it happens I do mind smashing my arches up so think I'll stick to the origional plan of 235/85/16's.

Thanks for your help

I have known people running 33/12.5's with no lift and they have had no arch troubles what so ever, he done the same arch extensions as pictured above...
