hi there people , just bought a freelander and it has not got four wheel drive .. apart from the rear prop shaft , what other items will i need to buy to re-install a prop shaft , returning it to 4 wheel drive .. many thanks ...roystonmate;)

Post it in the Freelander section and you might get some help, also do a search cos this condition has been covered a thousand times.
You'll need a thick skin and a good sense of humour cos I fear you may be in for a bumpy ride. :D:D:D
 
Your names not tubbs by any chance is it?

well it depends on what was removed and why to make it 2wd.

As a minimum, would be looking at a prop, VCU and bearings. Fit new VCU as a matter of course.

then you could also be in for a rear diff depending on exact nature, and if you're really unlucky, IRD as well.
