Land rover defender 90 f reg 300 tdi
Hazard switch rocker type 7pin
My issue is when I connect switch it cancels out my wiper stalk .rear fog light
If I fit a 6 pin. Wiper stalk works .rear fog light.
But no Hazard lights. Confused

Hello mate. An F reg would not have had the 300 tdi engine. It might have been fitted in place of the original engine. Probably a diesel 19J 2.5. It might have had a bit of ropey wiring work done on it. If you can get yourself a wiring diagram and give it a good check.

Yeah flying blind a little think at some stage it's had a chassis swop. Lots of upgrades not done well. Has a r380 gearbox rear disc axle. Upgrade lights. Wiring a bit hacked about with.
I'm not the best when it comes to Wiring

I have a similar aged 110 that has seen an engine, gearbox and rear diff swap at some point in its near 40 years existence.

It also has some funky what-could-possibly-go-wrong wiring mods.

Its for a military variant with things like IR and convoy lights, but I have found this wiring diagram to be accurate:
ElectricalDiagram2.jpg
And the PDF details a kind of standard colours for common functions list in UK automotive, and my 110 seems to follow it.

If you dont have a multimeter I can recommend acquiring one when it comes to fault finding.
