Help on Explorer Gearbox

My Gearbox has been making some odd noises the last three days and yesterday
it didn't engage in Park. Ow it won't engage reverse. It sounds like the
cogs are soinning and not engaging. Or the clutch isn't engageing.if it had
one!

Any ideas or likely cost to repair?

I don't know that particular gearbox at all but this
sounds like a selector linkage problem. With any luck
it can be easily adjusted.
