Help needed

Hi my 1996 defender 90 has an intermittent reluctance to start in the mornings. Fine anywhen else. We've noticed it usually plays up when the fuel is down to about a quarter. Is this just a coincidence or has any one else had a problem. Thanks

If its anything like the range rovers that problem is usually the in tank lift pump gone bad and the injection pump struggling to draw the fuel
others will know more.
