help needed with radio defender code

I have bought of good old ebay a defender cd radio

I have not connected it yet but the seller said it needed a code

it is ce-6h3205lr-05

just wondered if anyone new a good code breaker?

I'd ask him/her why not as it might be knicked.

There's loads of these about, as people remove them to fit something better.

But as already mentioned, l would want to know why the seller did not have the code.

here is his reply

This Radio is one that came additional with my latest Defender, but isn't the actual one from that vehicle. The vehicle being on 02 Td5, with which the seller gave me that spare radio which is claimed to be from an 2011 defender, and the 'button less/missing' one which he'd been meaning to swap over. I've since fitted a Sony one to replace the 'button less/missing' one.
As far as I'm aware all the Land Rover dealer should require is the serial numbers off the radio sticker. Or at least that's what I've been told.

so speak to your lr dealer and let us know how you get on, seriously i thought you could contact lr direct with vehicle details, therein lies your problem, vehicle details!

LR only have the code for the ORIGINAL head unit
