help needed - rusty D1 in n-east

hoping any of you nice chaps and chapesses out there would know of someone that could help my son in Whitley Bay with his 300tdi disco with the usual tin-worm. He has no facilities to work on the vehicle so would appreciate any help or just advice from someone nearby.
