The light on my 2005 freelander aren't working
No side light
No mainbeam
No highbeam
No rear light and the dash doesn't light up

I checked all the light related fuses
All the front bulbs are OK but didn't check the rear as it's getting darker and darker

At first i thought I shorted something when driving through the valley earlier where there is some flooding in form of big puddles but with no fuses gone it doesn't look like it

Check fusible link12 in the engine bay fusebox, 40A constant feed to light switch, on 02MY anyway.

That appears to be the problem but it isn't a 40 amp fuse but some sort of after market linkage with 2 fuses in in protective covers, a 15 amp and a 30 amp.
The 30 amp is pretty much in a melt down stage
Quite a mess tbh

On the 02MY FL12 provides two feeds to the light switch via the 40A fuse, they may have altered it for 05MY to provide a fuse for each feed.
I don't have a circuit diagram for an 05MY to confirm.
