Hi does anyone no of a cheap mechanic i have a 2003 5dr td freelander i have loads of little annoying jobs that need doing but as i no nothing about cars im not going to try my back lights have stopped working so asume it must be a fuse one of my back door windows wont shut right to the top suspect its come off runner and i took my battery off my car and the rear window went down apparently it needs resetting wich can be done if you no the procedure ,and of corse as much as i like my car i cant afford Lanny prices

You don't need to know anything about cars to fix most of your problems, what you are saying is you don't want to (either you have better things to do with your time or you can't be arsed to) fix them yourself. If you want a low-cost option to fixing your problems, you need to fix them yourself. Searching on here will help you, eg "calibrate back window", have all your back lights stopped or just the brake lights? If you take them on yourself, as I say, have a search on here (or Google it) to get you started and if you're stuck pop a thread up on here about the problem your addressing and you will get help.
