Help,I need to lift my Disco

I have got hold of a J reg disco (after 4 years of a trooper) and i want to lift it. All i want to know is a ball park how long it might take and how hard is it to do. I can read a haynes manual and not to bad with a spanner so any thoughts or ideas will be gratefully recived.

lifting a disco is petty straight forward but it all depends on how far you want to go???
springs and shocks 2" lift no prob should do it in am evening. all going well but i would change the flexy brake lines for longer ones while you are at it.
but if you want to go the hole hog, anything upto a 3" -4" lift, springs, shocks, polybushes,trailing arms, turrets, brake lines, i would leave a weekend open
