I just had my Freelander 1.8 02 plate "repaired"
  1. New Clutch
  2. All seals replaced ( which ones - they dont say..)
  3. NFF on head gastek ? <<<<< what is that????
  4. Breakpads replaced
  5. Spare tyre replaced (canot be repaired )
  6. Sunrrof replaced
  7. Burnt Oily smell (still present depite seals changes-which ones?):confused:

Burnt Oil smell in the cabin still there specially when going up on a hill, descending and when stationery on traffic lights. :mad:

This is a vehicle I just purchased from Car Giant London - I felt secure about the purchase as they claim (car giant ) 114 safety cheks on all vehicles (obviouly missed mine):(


CAN SOMEONE HELP ME AND GIVE ME IDEAS AS TO WHERE THE LEAK MIGHT BE????? please please:eek:

by the way, its for sale now... but no enquiries.....amazing .....
 
ive no idea who car giant is nor ever heard of them.
but alarm bells are ringing so very fecking loud in my ears.
 
I once had massive problems with a car from similar type of car sales place ,once they got your money they dont give a monkeys about the aftersales service.Take my advice and that of others and take the bloody thing back,i found a threat of trading standards did the trick and also dont let em take you into a side room to discuss it,do it in the show room where all there potential customers can hear what crap service you have recieved,this also works well as it may affect the sales target for the salesmen.Tell em to stick it where its dark and smelly and insist on your pennies back.(Then get a defender much more fun):D :D
 
is car giant the name of the company or do you not want to say where you got it

Thanks, it going to legal now as 50% of the car is on finance....and its already in their litigation dept.:eek:
