Help - fuel line to fuel filter housing connector

First off - thanks for having me

recently bought a discovery 2 td5 auto (04) and browsed this forum a lot before buying to get a feel for what i was getting myself into. ive carried out a few fixes so far and the next one was to replace the air bleed valve and return valve on the fuel filter housing as the disco was all of a sudden getting hard to start and even stalled a couple of times, so was trying to rule out the simple fixes first.

problem - trying to disconnect push fit connector from fuel filter housing and the 90 degree elbow snapped in 2 with very little pressure...

I do not want to have to be a new fuel pump to filter fuel line, so was hoping to just get a couple of new push fit connectors and re-attach them to the hose.

can someone please tell me where i can get them in the UK or ireland. I did find them online, but they are in china and will take 6 weeks to arrive. i have posted a pic of the sort of thing i am talking about below, so any help greatly appreciated.

Had one in my hand fri, they were in a John Deere bag, seek out a fuel injection specialist or a good factors

IIRC, said connectors are pretty common across most common rail vehicles - got a breakers near you, or any car dealers with a parts dept containing a brain or two (!!) - or as freelance suggests a tractor dealership ....

The original parts are available - this is for a fender.... but have a good search round the usual suspects....

couple of dealers i have spoken with have told me that i need to buy the hose with the connector attached - similar to the part you have sent the link to. I am reluctant to buy the full hose with connector, when all i actually need is the 90 degree push fit connector
i have spent more than a couple of hours scouring the net and some of the LR dealers and have had zero success and am sure that I am not the only person to have come up agains this one.
