can anyone help ive got the radio apart at mow trying to find out which is the mute wire as ive just installed a nokia hands free does anybody know the colour for the mute on the standard radio with the six cd player atached to it i think its the philps one ?? thanking you all barry

Yeah, I gave up when I installed our handsfree kit. I'd like to kow too!

follow these instructions.

basically - get yoself a lightbulb (to reduce current flow) with two flying leads. connect one end to ground and then contact each wire on the radio wiv the other wire, in turn. If the display shows "mute" then yu found it.
