Hi Everyone,
Had an issue with the window wiper, it wouldnt stop. So i took the dash off to check the voltage from the switch, and when i put the dash back the indicators were not working. They work with the hazard switch but not with the indicator stalk, and also the flasher unit was getting hot!
Also the wipers still wont stop.

Thanks

Haha stuff like this is always happening to me. Does the wiper switch seem to be working with your circuit checker?

When you took the dash off you must have wiggled something loose for the indicators. Open it back up and check all the connections are firmly attached.

i checked everything i couldnt find anything loose. is the flasher meant to be earthed? there is a terminal on it not connected but i couldnt find any loose wires

yeah i would of thought it went to earth, i'l have to dig out the wiring diagram again spend hours behind the dash.
anyone any idea about the fog and front drive side head lamp?
they work at the same time and they break at the same time

Not sure but on mine I seem to recall the flasher unit was operate to the hazard one. In either case one is just chucked behind the dash random ways. When I last indid it it got caught and went on fire...thought it was my fault but no just BL engineering! Wipers is probably just the switch is welded on...get another

i got the indicators working!, i took the dash off and tidied up the wires behind there and made sure nothing was loose, never did find the problem though and im guessing it will be a new swtich on the wipers, which is a pain!!

anyone any idea of the fog light??

from the wiring diagram i can see that the power for the rear fog comes from the front dip headlight, its a red and blue cable i think, it goes to the relay, then mine has a yellow and then. but i cant seem to find the relay. i can see the yellow and red cable from the rear fog under the bonnet but cant see where is goes.
