Hi. Help Please
I have recently become the owner of my 1st D3 and love it, however,
I brought the car with a broken Autobox, fitted secondhand one and had Torque Converter Reconditioned.
After fitting it and the necessary procedure of resetting ECU, she fired up like a dream but all 4x4 related programmes are off (not working) with a load of faults, checking all common issues and the Transfer Case Module had light corrosion on the pins, cleaned up all pins on Module and Plug ends and system worked other than the Compressor Running none stop, and, slow raising on front axle, Suspension Module had a number of faults relating to Compressor Function, replaced Desiccant and Pressure Sensor Valve and the seals in the all 3 Valve blocks, Compressor working as it should but still slow raising on front axle, sometimes by helping to lift the front it would lift by it self.
Decided to add additional earths, Battery to Body and Back end of Transfer Box to Body and Chassis, deleted all fault codes and fired her up and instantly everything worked like brand new, front lifted as quick as it should....
6 weeks later driving along and the Battery Light came on followed by the Suspension Light, stopped and checked Aux Belt all ok checked Alternator and charging as normal, turned engine off and started it again and only the Suspension Light remaind on ran diagnostic and multiple faults of Lost Communication, Invalid Data mixed between, Instrument Cluster, Body Light Control, Terrain Response, Transfer Case Module.
Within 2/3 days of it being parked and worked on the car was undriveable with front and back suspension not even attempting to raise, Compressor shuts off after about a minute and lose of Special Programmes Same U code faults between the 4x4 program systems
Fault Codes Are
ABS Module.

Multifunction.
Dynamic Control= No Response
U0421 All Terrain Control - Invalid Data Ride Height Ride Level Control.

I know it's a long post but I'm lost can anybody steer me in the right direction please
Thanks

What scan tool are you using? Those C codes should have more detail to tell you exactly what they relate to. Seems you have height sensor problems and still slow to fill.

I would start by checking each height sensor, as for slow to fill - how old is the tank? They rust and leak etc
