HELP battery drain

Hi, my 300tdi has started to have difficulty staring in the mornings.
IT has a larger than standard battery and nothng is draining the battery overnight as i removed all cables and put them back on in the morning.
Any suggestions

If the battery is still draining with nothing connected then the battery is kaput.
How old is it? They dont last forever.

That is what i though, just seeing if i had missed out any other explaination before i have to fork out for a new battery

no battery sounds nackered take it to one of the tyre places they do a free battery check then buy it from somewhere else

stick your multimeter on it and see if you still got 12v. charge it overnight, check the v's. then try starting it. slow turn over could also be your starter motor. if it starts and all is good, leave it overnight and check the v's again to see if its discharging itself... do this BEFORE you spend out on a new batt.

just a thought.
