thought id join this forum as part of my quest to sell as many spares off as possible! anyone for a 200tdi defender engine? lol

apparently there's a very popular internet site that allows you to sell things you dont want, it also enables to you buy items that you dunt need but will buy anyways just in case they come in handy

oh and dunt be fooled into selling yer engine to MHM fer silly money, i was watching one on a site the other day and it went fer £1100 - so i'd stretch to £28 fer it if you want a quick sale :)

i keep meaning to put some stuff up on here fer sale - i took a pile of orginal LR stock as part payment of an unpaid busniness debt the other week and a quick tot up of it comes to well over £3500 (retail) and that's before i've worked out how much 40 ish drive flanges are worth - and it's all in some nice metal containers (that the missis wants fer planting things in)

£1100 Jeez ya get some fooking eejits on this planet you can get a good disco engine for £200 and I know it dint cost £900 for the exhaust modificashun

disco ones tend to go fer £200 to £400

this was a defender one along with all the bits

Post this link to the mug who brought it Find DEFENDER 200TDi Engine and All Ancillaries. on eBay within, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 09-Nov-07 19:30:00 GMT).

Thing is the only differences between the disco and defenders are the turbo location and the water pump/ end parts and you can actually swap them all over and turn a disco engine into a defender engine for a couple of hundred quid. and a days work once you've got the parts. There is a thread floating about somewhere detailing exactly how to do it.

i've cleared me watched items now and i can see how to find recently sold items - i was going tpost a link to that engine you've found - watch it and i bet it goes for over a grand
