Hello all, I have decided with the cost of living these days that I'm going to start doing some of the maintenance on my Freelander 2 myself to save some cash. I have an 07 plate GS and after a clean pass on its MOT last Monday, Im going to start on the front and rear brake pads. Im a materials engineer and although very practical, have little experience of car mechanics, I did once replace the brake pads on my old Ford Focus without crashing and dying though.

Anyway, hello all and thank you for any help and advice offered in the future.

Wecome, you'll need to grow a thick skin as a Gaylander owner on here, but you will live, even if you lose the will for it...:D:p;)

:welcome2: have you bought a manual for it? If you get stuck, post a thread and ignore 90% of it (it will be stuff about Gaylander etc) and you will get the help you need.:)
