Hi all I thought it would be the right thing to do to say hello to you all. I am an X Mini Fan but after a horrific accident 3 years ago I have been converted to a good Strong British Motor a LANDROVER. + they are more fun.
I was in a very bad accident with a Leyland daf 16 seater minibus which finaly made me get out of the Mini scene ( Well when I got out of the once very nice car ).
I was a passanger in a very tidy Mini 1000 when on a bend ( In Keighley Yorkshire ) it just give up holding the road and slid sideways into an oncoming minibus at about 70MPH. I was trapped in the car with my legs forced over into the drivers pedals and my body trapped under the door with a minibus on top of that. The ambulance driver told me when I WALKED out of AIREDALE GENERAL HOSPITAL that " You are the luckiest person I have ever met " that coming from a ambulance driver was the end of the small car scene. So now I am here to get into the big fun of the Landy and I will see some of you at Burnley this year. Look out for the Series 3 with the short ar*e. New to it but I am sure you will find I am not scared to try owt.
