Hello...new here.

Hi all,

I just joined the forum because I'm looking to buy a Landrover. Not sure if it'll be a 90, 110 or Discovery though. I like them all, but prefer the 110 Defender. The family might not agree though.

I currently run my '93 Astra on waste veg oil and was wondering which Landrover engines have the Bosch pumps and which have the Lucas?

My price range it upto £2k really, maybe a bit more.

Any advice is much appreciated if anyone here runs on WVO without much conversion.

You're not going to get a 110 worth **** fer £2k, you'll get a fair bit of Discovery for that tho'.

Dun't know much about WVO meself as V8's dun't like it much. Plenty on here do run it tho'. It's a bastid driving behind them when it's come frum the local Thai eatery tho', meks me crave that bastid stuff!

10J, 12J and 19J engines have lucas pumps.

Tdi have Bosch

TD5 and later have no idea
