Just introduce myself , micks the name live in Yorkshire near Rotherham, well after years of fancying a range rover , I've taken the plunge and after the adverse things I've read about them just hope I don't regret it , picking up an old girl 1997 p38 4.6 petrol , she's in nice not A1 condition but I intend to spend time getting her nice , my first job shortly is lpg , so I'll probably be asking advice on that later, amongst other things no doubt , looking forward to many hrs viewing conversations on the forum .

Welcome to the forum, bikermangs.
I'm sure I don't need to say this, but get a reputable installer to do the LPG conversion. Enjoy your P38. Classy vehicle :)

Thanks for welcome guys, can anyone recommend an installer in my area , and the best system gor my car , sorry if I should post this in another thread

Welcome to the loonyzone, Mick! :)

I wouldnt worry too much about what you read, if your motor is fairly sound to start with, and you look after it, it should be fine. I bought V8 Disco2 in 2013, just a cheapie for sale at the roadside. Other than oil changes and greasing props, I have never laid a spanner on it in two years, I just drive it, and it has MOTd no problem at all. Doubt if I would even have bought it if I had read about them first! :D

I would try forum search for V8 LPG conversion, things like that. Bet there will be a lot of info about it! ;)
Cant recommend any individual installers, I live a long way from there.
